Tonight, I had dinner with my friend. My feelings for her had grown over the months, and towards the end of our fantastic meal I asked her what she thought about us getting together. I was soundly rejected (with a very good reason). Crestfallen, I drove to Trader Joes and picked up two packages of turkey bacon. So... the day pretty much came out to a push.
