Crud... I Think I Like It
I was going to make huge long posts of each of the following events, but I just don't have the time... nor the energy. So I present to you my life outside of work during the past few weeks -- in pictures.
Pre-entering the Emerald City Comicon
Very imaginative!
Awwww...
Yikes... after not being cast for the new Street Figher movie, Ryu really let himself go...
Opening Day! (The one at the plate is Griffey. Standing Ovation necessary.)
I was on the Jumbotron as the Moose danced and gyrated next to me during the 7th inning stretch -- and I looked like a terrible fan because I didn't even stand up. Which, of course, I couldn't because it looked like I had duked myself (see below). *Pic taken by Ching
Mariners win with the Felix Crew in attendence!Pictured in post below: M's getting shellacked 9-3. Worst baseball game I've ever been to; I didn't know Safeco could get so quiet. Rays put on a show though...

Sweet-Ass Mariners
Luckily I wore my big ass covering jacket because I thought it would snow today.
(No pictures though- I'm at a Mexican restaurant and they might look down upon me taking a cellphone picture of my bum.)
Chocolate spread over the seat of my pants and Carlos Silva starting, but a chance to welcome home Griffey -- and being able to leave work after only nine hours, I already count today as a win.
Go Mariners!

Wake Me For the Weekend
I thought it was bad before, but I am now working fifteen hour plus days this week. I come in at 5:30AM and am supposed to be out at about 730ish - but so far it's been closer to nine. I think I'll be able to escape "on-time" tonight, but we'll see. Just like how we'll see if this schedule really does last for just this week. I think I can feel myself dying, as I'm averaging about five and a half hours of sleep a night and have done nothing but work, eat, and [minimally] sleep the past three and a half days -- minus three episodes of King of the Hill. At least the weekend is nearly here... and what a weekend it will be!
The draft for the baseball league I play in (the PSSBL) happens on Saturday, and I'm anxious to see the new players on Sunday to get an idea of what the team may look like for the upcoming season. My plan is to pick up a solid middle infielder with an early pick, a backup catcher, and whatever sort of servicable pitcher I can find. We are loaded at 1B this year, so I will probably start the season in the outfield and see how that works out.
With the flurry of work that I've been having to deal with recently, I forgot about another big event happening this weekend: The Emerald City Comi-Con! I've missed out on years past, but I'm looking forward to wandering the halls this Saturday with all the weirdos dressed as anime characters all the while surrounded by writers, artists, and merchandising! So... anyone want to go?
I'll also mention that I am at work right now, and that I've had enough time to peck this post out on my cellphone with a partially broken keyboard, so you can imagine how much time one of these automated processes take... while I wait.
