Wake Me For the Weekend

I thought it was bad before, but I am now working fifteen hour plus days this week. I come in at 5:30AM and am supposed to be out at about 730ish - but so far it's been closer to nine. I think I'll be able to escape "on-time" tonight, but we'll see. Just like how we'll see if this schedule really does last for just this week. I think I can feel myself dying, as I'm averaging about five and a half hours of sleep a night and have done nothing but work, eat, and [minimally] sleep the past three and a half days -- minus three episodes of King of the Hill. At least the weekend is nearly here... and what a weekend it will be!

The draft for the baseball league I play in (the PSSBL) happens on Saturday, and I'm anxious to see the new players on Sunday to get an idea of what the team may look like for the upcoming season. My plan is to pick up a solid middle infielder with an early pick, a backup catcher, and whatever sort of servicable pitcher I can find. We are loaded at 1B this year, so I will probably start the season in the outfield and see how that works out.

With the flurry of work that I've been having to deal with recently, I forgot about another big event happening this weekend: The Emerald City Comi-Con! I've missed out on years past, but I'm looking forward to wandering the halls this Saturday with all the weirdos dressed as anime characters all the while surrounded by writers, artists, and merchandising! So... anyone want to go?

I'll also mention that I am at work right now, and that I've had enough time to peck this post out on my cellphone with a partially broken keyboard, so you can imagine how much time one of these automated processes take... while I wait.
