I figure I would throw my hat into the blogger craze. Unlike my ill-fated website of yesteryears, there's not going to be anything fancy -- just me and my ramblings. The main purpose of this blog is for me to keep a log of my life. I don't know what it is, but something about archiving and recording things has always appealed to me. It's why I have folders in my cabinets of all my bills and receipts organized chronologically, my comic books in short boxes by series and issue number, and detailed baseball stats of my games neatly sorted in an Excel spreadsheet. I want to be able to look back and see what was happening, way back when...

Another reason for making this is to motivate myself. Too many of my days have been wasted with nothing accomplished (xbox and TV don't cut it). Let's see if I can decrease my lackadaisical nature. While I'm not planning on writing everyday, I'm hoping that I could have something to write about everyday.
