Google too Good...

Google's picture program Picasa recently released a new update to their desktop software version which includes amongst other things a new way to use people tags. Picasa will scan through all your photos and find every thing it thinks is a face, allowing you to tag the ones you want, which in turn allows the creation of albums based on people (or combinations of people; for example you can find all the photos with both you and your best friend). After Picasa scans the photos though, you have to assign faces to names.

Through the many photos I have, Picasa managed to identify these faces from backgrounds: Sean Connery, NBA players Darrell Armstrong and J.R. (Earl) Smith, Peter Parker/Spider-Man from a comic book cover, Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark from a toy, former Seahawks running back Shaun Alexander (the only one on this list I legitimately met and had a picture with), QB Matt Hasselbeck from a TV image, former Mariners Mark Mclemore and Edgar Martinez, a face from a statue/plaque on a Mormon church in Salt Lake City, and this guy...

Yeah, Picasa managed to correctly identify a 2D white board drawn hooded KKK member's face.
