To Infinity... or 300

Apparently the start of a new weekly tradition, come join us Thursday nights 9PM at Tech City Bowl in Kirkland. Sun-Thu from 9PM to close (midnight), they offer all you can bowl for $9 (tax and shoes included). Oh and did I mention... it's cosmic bowling? Bumpin' music and crazy lights -- wear white. Lots of it.

I felt I should report two things from tonight's festivities. Firstly, I finished the night off with a game score of 205, 9 points shy of my all-time high. The only pin I missed was in the very last frame, where I got nine of 'em instead of the strike to close the game. So I'm feeling pretty good about that. In fact, everyone did pretty well tonight, so yay. Anne actually tied me one game... which means she'll probably overtake me next week.

Secondly, if anyone had any doubts of coming, just look take a look at the following picture for the kind of atmosphere this place has.



Don't see anything out of the ordinary? Look... closer. It will soon dawn upon you that he in fact has cat ears (yes, granted hard to see from this photo) and a tail. I guess that's what they call an alley cat. Hi-yo!

But seriously, he was a really good bowler.
