My team is back to its winning ways, picking up two games this past weekend. Saturday, we beat the Diablos 16-12 under the scorching sun at Marymoor Park. One of the opposing players hit a grand slam off my starting pitcher, but we answered back with a three run homer of our own. Tonight, we were in a close game against the Iron Pigs in which they scored the tying run in the bottom of the eight. We then proceeded to score nine in the top of the ninth, resulting in a final score of 18-10. We are now tied for 2nd place in the Rocky Division, with a record of 4-3. Both games were great, as the leads changed constantly throughout; I'm glad we were able to pull both of them out with clutch late inning hitting. We are leading the division in runs per game (12.7) and have scored almost 30 more than the next team. Hopefully this trend continues, and if our pitching continues to improve then we should be dominant by the time playoffs roll around.
