Bright and Early.

7:29AM

It's 7:20AM and I am situated in front of gate B10 an hour before the scheduled departure time. While Sister does this a few times a year, this will be the first time I am flying alone. It is... quiet, and I'm feeling awfully adventerous. Perhaps I'll leave my bags unattended and go to the bathroom -- just to see what happens

10:58AM: Touchdown!
Drifting in and out of consciousness, I couldn't help but think during my fleeting times awake: Something really smells like ass. But, arrived I have at Denver International; an airport seemingly surrounded by loads of dry empty land. Weather.com liked to me and said it would be rainy today and in the 40s... that is certainly not the case as it is sunny and in the mid-50s. Off the plane I go!

It's been a while since I've experienced a good tram ride... although Midnight Meat Train is still fresh on my mind.

12:13PM: Yes... yes!!

It's finally come to fruition, and all I can say is "mmm mmm, delicious!" Unfortunately, unbeknowst to me, the limeade I ordered was carbonated. This was the first carbonated beverage i've had since my sophmore year of high school. I only managed to finish a fifth of it, and I can already feel it bubbling inside me -- forcing me to release burps much too frequently for my liking. Picture: Trevor and the Sonic drive-in menu. Tater tots + chili + cheese = heavenly. Cheeseburger + jalepeno = godliness.

5:49PM: Nuggets!

O.J. Mayo has dropped 19 points in the first quarter, J.R. Smith has missed his first free throw of the season, and Rocky the Nuggets mascot just dropped a cake from the upper deck onto some poor unsuspecting fan below -- a quality basketball game thus far.

9:50PM: Go Pink

Trevor's host family are putting me up for a night, and I m very grateful. I have been supplied with a bed with pink blankets and a pink pillow with a pink throw pillow. impressive... Nuggets won, 100-90, and we had fantastic seats to take in all the action. Just about to sleep, got a long day of driving ahead of us tomorrow.
